Why should you seek to know yourself? There is no need, if you are happy with the way your life is or the way you see and experience the world around you! If, however you are deeply disturbed by what you see about human life and living conditions, and the quality of your own life and you seem to question and want to understand most things that you come across in your life-path, then you are already a seeker! The primary cause of all suffering, be it mental, emotional or physical is not knowing who we are! We are disconnected from our own being, feeling, body-mind. Why is the world in the state it is? Unless one has taken a deep, honest look at one's own life mindfully, one is very likely to make an error in trying to save or fix the world. The world is not out there, it (perception) is continously arising within and projected outward!

Am I just a physical body? Am I my mind with chaotic thoughts, habitual beliefs and unexamined attitudes? Am I the many limiting and critical voices of the watcher? or Am I an observer witnessing my life, thoughts, emotions, success and struggles? How much of my life and relations am I conscious of, in denial, avoidance, resistance, reaction, acceptance, judgement, blame, shame, insecurity? Who is making the choices for me or am I choosing consciously?

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual
beings having a human experience."  -- Teilhard de Chardin

Boats 3

"Who am I and why am I here?" is the most fundamental yet quite elusive question of life; because if we do not know who we are, we do not know what should be our priority in life? Which way should we go? How do we resolve the many paradoxes of everyday living? Not knowing who we are, is like sailing a boat without its sail or walking blind-folded and getting tossed and turned by every passing emotional wave that hits us!

"You do not become a spirit after death. You are a spirit (soul) now, enveloping and breathing into the body." - Seth

What can give me the sense of deep abiding happiness, joy and freedom? What is my essential nature? Does life begin only at birth and end in death?  Am I only my form (body-brain) or is my conscious-awareness (observer) always present? If so or if not, how do I conduct my life every day,in every moment?

"You cannot die! Dwell no more on thoughts of growing older and being ready for the grave. You are only getting ready for your immortal state!" - Paramhansa Yogananda
In the age of science and technology we have gone far in exploring our external world. Now quantum science is revealing strange phenomena in the subatomic world, where both the behavior and location of a quantum particle is influenced by the observer. That both space and time and the solidity of the physical world are illusions in the way we understand them. Space and time are not fixed quantities, rather these are qualities that are interchangeable and very elastic. Open-minded scientists are coming to grips with the fact that no experiment can remove the role of observer (experimenter).

The nature of our questions (about Karma, re-incarnation, cause-effect, heaven-hell, first cause/God-no God, chicken or egg, end vs. means, single line of history and evolution)and the answers that follow are based on concepts of linear time, which has been proven as illusory by Einstein's theory of relativity. Time is simultaneous and all that is, was or ever will be is ever present Now.

Time only appears linear, due to our brain-memory, our adherence to clock-time and the incomplete/partial nature of all sensory perception. So what is the true nature of reality or the true nature of Self?

"If there is only empty space, with no suns nor planets in it, then space loses its substantiality."  - Buddha

There is no reality in the absence of observation.- The Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

"The void (emptyness) is materially nothing, yet potentially everything. It is the Mother/Father principle, Source of energy and consciousness." - Ramtha

Now is the only point you exercise your power to make a new choice! Change old habits of fight or flight. Receive new thoughts.

Sunset Over Water

You are the center (creator-observer) of your experiential universe, you cannot understand your experience, unless you stand objectively apart from it. Most of us can accept death with passage of time, because it happens to everyone! We cannot accept some personal tragedy or deep disappointments or separation or personal affront so easily. Because for most of us it is difficult to stand apart from our own beliefs and emotions. Rarely do we explore our daily thoughts, impulses, emotions or dreams out of many fears and judgements we place on such inner exploration! Self-knowledge is the foundation of true power and all self-empowerment. After you gain a significant awareness and mastery of your inner reality, go out  in the world with love, explore with joy, apply and affirm your knowledge gaining eternal wisdom.

"There is nothing to be feared in life, only to be understood." - Marie Curie

"The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the mystical. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this  emotion is a stranger..is as good as dead" - A.Einstein

What we are looking for is what is looking.
- St. Francis of Assisi

You Have Chosen To Remember

"Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha" means gone, gone, gone everyone all the way to the other shore. Gone from suffering to liberation of all stress, gone from forgetfulness to mindfulness, gone from duality to non-duality.
- Heart Sutra, Buddha
